The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is not a traditional aquarium. They take you behind the scenes to learn more about scientific research in our oceans and the Monterey Bay. Their exhibits will teach you and your children about elephant seal behavior, understanding the role of sea otters in their ecosystem, observing the differences in plant and animal life in different tidepools, and you can learn more about the hearing of sea lions and harbor seals.
It is a marine science museum & aquarium, with hands-on exhibits, a touch pool & a gift shop.
