FARM TO BARN — The Barn tries to source all of its products from local farms. The end result is one of the better burgers in Half Moon Bay! This is a great place for burgers, fries, salads, etc. Friendly staff, good food, and an inviting, rustic ambiance.
Keep in mind that most of their tables are outside. They do have heat lamps and blankets, but you may want to layer your clothing. Also, this is a really popular place on warm weekends, so be prepared for longlines—although they do move along quickly.
Major rating websites give The Barn 4.5 to 4.7 stars. My family—and extended family—love the Barn burgers. I, on the other hand, have at times found the taste of their burgers to be a little off. Also, at times they don’t serve all the order at once, so it makes it a little awkward to just start digging in to your meal. I admit it, though, it may be me because they have received the local Reader’s Choice Award for best burger 4 times.
