Half Moon Bay has miles of unspoiled beaches that stretch from the City of Half Moon Bay’s own Poplar Beach, through the Half Moon Bay State Beach complex (Francis Beach, Venice Beach, and Dunes Beach) to the Pillar Point Marsh and the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. And further north you hit Moss Beach and Montara State Beach and Montara Mountain.

And that’s just the beginning! A short drive to the south is Año Nuevo State Reserve where the gigantic elephant seals roam.
